Members of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association held their 66th annual remembrance in Balboa Park during a torrential morning rain.
A handful of survivors conducted a hallowed ceremony at the Veteran's Chapel centrally located on the park grounds.

Michael listened to their dramatic memories of the attack that triggered WW II. He also discussed with veterans concerns about their future security and needs. Conducting the ceremony was David Brown, event organizer and publisher of the
Veterans Journal. Brown is leading the crusade to build the future Veteran's National Cemetery located at MCAS Miramar. Crimmins is assisting in David Brown's efforts.

The farmers’ produce market held each Sunday on Girard Street faces the possibility of a parking meter installation and activation during operating hours. A petition was being circulated against this action. Crimmins spoke with vendors and the shoppers as he surveyed the community traditional activities and endorsed the petition.

Crimmins surveys the selection of rare spices and condiments with local shoppers. He discusses the suprisingly low prices for many of the fresh organic produce selections brought in from local farms and flower nurseries to this popular La Jolla market.
