Michael Crimmins Announces Candidacy for US Congress

Officially registered and fulfilling the requirement on signatures for the nomination
process with the Registrar of Voters, Michael Crimmins, a teacher and retired Marine
Corps officer, announces his candidacy for California’s 53rd Congressional District, located
in the heart of “America’s Finest City”.

A general and special education teacher involved with day-to-day classroom instruction for
the last decade coupled with serving a 21 year career in the United States Marine Corps, as
a naval flight officer, Michael Crimmins espouses views that are common sense traditional
American values and principles.

Michael Crimmins transferred his Marine Corps background and education as a proven
leader and role model, into the classroom environment with high standards and
expectations that all students can achieve in becoming contributing members of American
society.

As a resourceful problem solver, versatile troubleshooter and team builder, he has a
proven record of success in “getting things done”, delivering results, not excuses. His
reputation is that of a self-starter and change agent for the betterment of children’s lives.

As a candidate for Congress, Michael Crimmins promises two things: integrity of purpose
and a commitment to excellence in the performance of all his responsibilities. Michael Crimmins holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, several Master Degrees in Education and Educational Administration coupled with California general education and special education teaching credentials.
